The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    if so what does it have anything to do with Google Sketch?

    Counter Strike: Source, qhn ;) And Sketchup is a nifty program. Nice guys who make it, too, though a little too busy for their own good, especially since Google bought them.

    What I've actually found I use more is Wings 3D. It integrates with my other 3D rendering software, not just Google Earth, and it's free, and still pretty easy to use, very similar to how SketchUp operates.

    Sketchup FREE version is nice, but I wish I could saved my models to a actual pic or 3d file rather than some google earth file.

    I'm going to look into wings3D that pita suggested.

    well i know a hack i you guys want to know (kinda of a hack)
    after download google sketchup get the free trial of sketch up 5
    then move all the files in sketch up 5 to the google sketch up one,
    and Bang! you have all the files and tools google sketch up didnt :)
