This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ive been looking at antivirus and kaspersky gets good reviews from sites but i was looking for people who have used kaspersky and there thoughts on it...

    I used it. It is good but pricey. NOt a system hog like norton. You can get a trial for 15 days I believe

    I have it on my computer and it is a good antivirus. It' works fine, you can update at any moment or scan cd's, etc.. ( normal to other antivirus). The best of this antivirus is that you can download the trial version and if you have a key flie it's like you have bought it. I prefer kaspersy before than norton or Mcafee.

    I am running Internet Security 6.0 and love it! The app uses very few system resources and also provides excellent protection. It is pricey, but check ebay for lower prices. I picked up a retail copy for $50, whereas I think it is $80 directly from Kaspersky.
