Once i get my laptop, i am going to run Windows Live Messenger
-
Windows live messenger has been very good for me so far -
I just received my M1210 and downloaded MSN live. The first time I ran the program I got the blue screen serious error. I rebooted and now it just keeps looking for a connection. Anyone else have problems?
I am running Win XP pro -
i have 6400 and MCE xp and am running the latest version of msn no problems
if you have connection problems, try windows zero configuration wireless (windows wifi managine software). i find that windows does a pretty good job of that and is better then the intel stuff.
all you need to do is right click the intel icon at the bottom right and click "use window zero configurtaion wireless" -
Windows Live Messenger (Build 8.0.0792.00)
stable on the M1710 running MCE

*Mento - be sure you use the Add/Remove Program --> Add/Remove Windows Components feature to remove MSN 4.7. -
Just reformated by new 640m; WLM which worked fine on my old desktop just keeps searching for a connection now. If you go through Tools > Options > Connection, it says there's no connection issues at all - but, WLM refuses to log-on. Quite frustrating! I think it was 8.0.0812 somethingsomething
