Dont flame me on this but try understand my situation, I have a LOT of programs on my computer and I just found out that there are portable applications that people can pirate so it doesnt install anything on your computer and I like this idea because then it doesnt play with everything on the computer like reg values, etc.

I do not condone and do not want to break the law in any way, just a moral issue, but if I pay for and own the software, in this case a font viewer app, am I allowed to use the portable version or is there still some legal issue that I am breaking?

    Many thanks in advance

hmm i don't think so its illegal but most software will be 1 User License that means you should use it in only one System .
