hey guys i m looking to update my window xp to longhorn..want
to confirm that if windows drivers and softwares will work
with longhorn...
-
32-Bit or 64-Bit ?
Applications work, most drivers won't.
(64-Bit drivers are totally different) -
longhorn ???? I never know that OS was still available
and I had Build Longhorn Build 4074 and most Vista Drivers works
-
longhorn 4074"" m also looking to install it/..but m installing it for games purpose ..will it be good??
-
Not at all. It would be better to game on Windows XP SP3 (or Vista) rather than on Longhorn 4074 which is largely unstable and incomplete.
-
why people are saying that longhorn has been called vista now??i dont get it then why should vista be better??because vista is longhorn then!!
-
People are saying that Longhorn is Vista because Longhorn was the development name for Vista. The screenshots of Longhorn that have been seen are from about 4 years ago, when Vista hadn't been named yet and was still in beta. Beta versions are for testing purposes only and by this time, most if not all of the beta versions of Vista or Longhorn are defunct and can't even be activated. If you want to upgrade, just get Vista.
-
Where have you been for the last 2-3 years? You realize that Longhorn was the development name and now Vista is the OS that is being sold to the mainstream?
-
And Longhorn Which was shown in many Ads , Demo was totaly scrapped
then they started to completely new code base using win2k3 Kernel
and that was and is Vista
longhorn compatible software
