I know there are programs that keep a file of everything the computer is doing and what error's occur. I am having a hard time tracking down what is causing my computer to lock up when I play games. its not my temps, I have tested the memory, underclocked the CPU and memory, and changed the vid card drivers several times, ran 3dmark and orthos back to back many times and everything seems good. I am at my wits end here. any suggestions?

how did you test the memory?

I ask this because on many occassions memory tests OK but is still the culprit with a lock up. If you can, remove one stick at a time and see if the problem repeats

Did you update the program that locks up to latest patches (games are notorious for constant patches)
