    looking for battery extender charge program

    Samsung has a "battery life extender" program that only charges the laptop to 80% This is because most wear of the lithium battery occurs when you depleat the battery below 20% and when you charge it the top 20% (as a easy generalization)
    But this program only works with samsung hardware (damn corporations) so Im wondering if there is a program that does the same thing for the rest of us?
