i am currently using a 64 bit vista ultimate, and i couldn't find any media player that can play all types of media files, i have a program called "K lite code" it worked in my vista before, but for some reason it doesn't work now, probably because it doesn't support 64 bit window, so please, if anyone know any good media player for vista ultimate, please leave a reply!! thanks~

I think either VLC or Media player classic has support for 64-bit.

    Can't you use a 32-bit media player?
My understanding is you need 64-bit codecs if you use a 64-bit media player, but you can use a 32-bit media player (with 32-bit codecs) on a 64-bit OS. Isn't that right?
