    lost my vista for xp 64 bit

    hai NBR,
    i hav an hdx 16 laptop which had an home premium of vista 64 bit installed in c drive..i installed windows xp 64 bit on e drive.but i dont get the dual boot option.my system directly logins to win xp 64 bit..can u plz help me with this issue...my boot rec contains this in the boot.ini

    i know that including another line will cause the vista to appear in the boot menu again..plz specify that line of code.....

    ah, not a good idea to install XP over Vista :/
    I did also this about 1 year ago, If I don't remember wrong I fixed it by installing Vista Over the XP again. But not quite sure :/

    You need to pop in the Vista DVD and fix your master boot record from the DVD.

    the right way is to install XP FTW then Vista, not teh other way round.
