The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What the hell Khaled Mardambey?

The old versions all used to just give an annoying Register Me countdown before connecting after the trial period - now the only options given are Register and Exit.

Anyone have an alternative IRC client suggestion for Windows, apart from mibbit?

If you really like MIRC why not buy it? I think its a one time purchase with a pretty low price.

If your firmly against that, you can keep installing the trial when it expires.

I second the recommendation of xchat. But if you use any mIRC plugins or anything, it's probably worth buying it instead of moving to xchat. But if you just want a solid IRC client, I'm a big fan of xchat.
