how would i put 2 wmv files onto one svcd? i'm trying to put both pubmasters movies ( <3 pubmasters ) onto one cd-r. i don't believe that i can just drag both of the files onto nero and burn because the dvd player won't know which file to play. also a main menu would be nice. that way i can select which one to watch.
is there software that does this or can this be done using nero?

Its not hard, but will take a bit to burn.

Which NERO version? My OEM version has StartSmart and that has an VCD option for CD burning

nero 6.6016. it has smartstart. i've made vcd's before but not vcds with two files on one disc. is it the same? do i just drag both the files into the list of files to burn? and what about a menu to select which movie to watch?

It should give you that screen right before you burn it when you drag the files if I remember correctly.

You can customize the menu with cool stuff :p

    Yea, just checked it

hm...you lauched startsmart, right? then click make svcd and nero burning rom launches? or click make svcd and nero vision express launches? nero burning rom launches for me and not vision. and i don't see how to configure menus in burning rom

    I used VCD actually...

SVCD gives me a MPEG2 plugin error, and tells me to buy it

You can still burn VCD's using Nero Express, I just tried it and that works.

If you want - I can either send you one of my multiple OEM copies or I can make an image and send it to you..

it's alright. thanks for offering. you're very kind. i got it to work by installing nerovision. i thought i installed it but i guess not.
i got a question tho: after burning it, i loaded it onto my laptop cd drive and tried watching it with the nero program (windows media player won't read the disc) and it's really choppy. i don't have a dvd player either so i didn't get to test it on an actually dvd player. i can burn vcds straight from .wmv format, correct? or did i have to convert it to another format?

oh and yea. i could make vcds using nero express but i couldn't make menus.

There should be a click button on the right of the Nero Express window where you add the files, and it should say something about a menu.

I didn't try my VCD on my laptop but on a DVD player though...
