    how do i make my windows look like windows vista i seen all these images on the net of making xp look like vista andim interested?

    Thanks for any help.

    P.S. is it possible to put the sidebar into xp??

    EDIT: will making xp look like vista slow it down??

    uhh i got a question about vtp. i have vtp 5.5, and i want to upgrade to 6.0, so how do i do that? do i just download 6.0, uninstall 5.5, and then install 6.0? plz help

    They say you can upgrade directly, but better uninstall. You never know ;)

    No, dont! I hear that VTP 6.0 is very hard to remove. Besides, it doesn't support transparency like WB does.


    As for how to emulate vista:

    Vista 2.4
    WB
    TopDesk
    VAIO (no the sony one, google it)
    Go to joejoe.org. They have some nice themes, but beware: some of the programs have rootkits - took me so long to get rid of it....

    well im planning on keeping it until i get the real vista, so then i will just install that OS and then it will be all fine

    well if i uninstall the old one, then will everything be all screwed up until i install 6.0?

    If you really want the Vista interface, get the real thing :)
    If you uninstall the old one, it would revert to your default windows prior to installing the VTP

    i do want the vista interface, i just dont wanna have to pay/wait for it...yes i am very cheap. >.<

    edit: i just installed the new vtp 6.0 and wow it is sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!
