Alright, I tried to google this before asking here but you don't get many results when you type "media control buttons without window having focus" into the search bar, needless to say. So, I get annoyed having to alt tab out of bf2 just to change a song or something, then bf2 crashes, locks up my computer, the song starts looping or something stupid, and I end up having to restart the computer. So, anyone have any idea or maybe know of a program that lets you use your media control buttons (mine being the ones on the front of my E1705) without your media player (Itunes in this case) having focus? I would assume its possible, considering there are programs that let you scroll with the scroll wheel on windows that dont have focus.

I wouldn't know with Itunes. It depends on the media player you're using, there might be a global hotkeys plugin or something you can get. (In winamp you just have to turn on global hotkeys).
Also, some games (like Oblivion) don't allow it anyways, they like steal the focus of everything; I dunno about BF2.

Also, there is probably a way to make a script to do it with autohotkeys , but that might be a little complicated, and I don't feel like doing installing itunes to make the script.

Edit: Did a bit of googling, this might work (not sure if it is compatible with you're media buttons, can't hurt to try it though).
