    memory stick doing weird things

    ok, the files are only deleting on one computer. we then pugged it back into my brothers computer and poof not only those files were gone but some other ones where in diffrenct locations. he can not delete any files(they just reappear)

    sometimes the files are there some times they are not on either system...
    is they way to get lost files back, and how.

    also should i be calling Sandisk warrenty depot???

    help please it is driving me nuts!!!!!

    i probably should not have used 'memory stick' it is actually a usb thumb drive(flash)

    Can you format the flash drive? If not I would probably call Sandisk or a local comptuer guy.

    Move all your info out of the USB drive and reformat it with FAT32. Don't try NTFS as I read that it "bricks" the drive.

    is is already fat, i was hoping there was a way to not format it but i will try it who knows?

    this is my 2nd sandisk that has deid, the other one would not let me format or delete or write, so i think i will get somthing else other than sandisk this time...

    i only have 2 so that is a little high on my dead/alive scale (100% )

    That's a real run of bad luck. I've used a variety of SanDisk products over the years and had no problems. Seems like there's always a bad batch of things that pop up from time to time. Might be worthwhile to contact them and let them know.
