    i just got a new laptop for college and i want to get office for it... using journeyed.com through my college i am able to get microsoft office professional plus 2007 for $85 USD would this be the best deal i will be able to find? or is there any other suggestions for what i should do to get office?

    Professional plus for 85 isnt too bad of a deal. It does not come with OneNote though, which IMO is a deal breaker.

    I'm addicted to OneNote myself. It is a better notetaker than Word.

    I would suggest trying out openoffice.org first before purchasing M$ office.

    I personally would get the Home and Student edition. Or befriend a Microsoft Employee and get a copy of Office Ultimate.

    i see that there was once ultimate available for $60 but that promotion ended...is there any way to get it anywhere near that price or anychance of another promotion coming along that anyone has heard of?

    I have just started using OneNote myself. It is pretty great once you get used to how it operates. Still learning myself.
