I have just resently bought a HP w1907 monitor for my Gateway 310S Home model. I hooked it up and it worked fine. However, I did not have the recommended adjustmets for my monitor. So i went to intel and download a graphics driver and ateempted to install. If it succeded or not, I do not know.

Now my Gateway computer is only displaying at a 640x800 resolution and 4 bit color. I even changed monitors, so its not a monitor issue... Anyone have any opinions about the best way to resolve this problem?

    Any insight would be apperciated!

    Thanks.

You don't have the correct (or any) video driver installed, and so the display is defaulting to the built-in VGA mode.
