    hello

I currently have windows 7 installed with windows live mail which stores all my emails.. but i want to install this program in another computer to use monitor the same account that i store in windows 7.

the thing is.. i dont want it to download all my emails all over again since my connection is very very very slow at the moment and my traffic very short... i tried the import export thing (i think ive done it well) but it keeps on downloading all my emails once i ask it to syncronize everything...

    any suggestions?

Did you let it download all the emails/headers first?

You need to know the type of connection you have to your mail server in order to know where your mail currently is. Some protocols keep the mail at the server. Some download it to you.

POP - downloaded off server to client
IMAP - mail kept in server

I know with Thunderbird you can using %appdata% using run.exe, then copy all of the folder contents to the new system. Not sure if it will work for you though.
