Definitely recommend using this browser over Microsoft IE for speed, ease of use, tabbed browsing, selective cookie acceptance (esp. with Cookie Culler) and better popup support. This is the best browser, IMO.

No question about it . . . Mozilla Firefox is far superior and much safer than IE. Been using the said since later beta. The tabbed browsing is a definite plus. There are plenty of very usable extensions to suit everyones' needs and likes.

I love firefox, recently started using it and must say its way better than IE. The speed i notice is the big part. I also like the tabbed browsing and the customizable skin, Brushed Aluminum for me.
On a side note, have you guys read the latest article on cnet about Netscape Browser 8.0? It use the same Gecko engine as firefox and includes all the features firefox does. Also has a support for IE. Jump over too cnet and read it! Also interesting to know that Time Warner helped fund and setup Mozilla.

*Sony MDR-G74SL Headphones for music and gaming, best 40 dollar pair i have ever bought!* -
Defiinitly the best. Only problem I have with it are the constant upgrades. I have to keep up with the themes, and extensions.
By the way does anybody's firefox freeze when they try to use the forums search page? -
Ihave been using MF since its launch on my desktop and recently on my new laptop. It is faster than IE and has lot of good add-ons.
I have a weather tool bar which gives forcast for 48 hours near the staus bar which is good to see the weather in your local city.
I would recommend MF as regular browser.

opera is the FASTEST browser, and is more configurable than firefox
firefox works.... its very basic
IE can load pages where opera and firefox cant. so if you want compatibility use IE
if you want to surf ultra fast and have tabs and all that, use opera,
i dont have a use for firefox so i uninstalled it

Well,I am using Opera, FireFox and IE. I have never had problems with Opera and I think it is the best on the market right now.
