I finally have the time to install a 64-bit version of Vista to test it out and I ran into a problem. Whenever Mozilla tries to open a pdf. Mozilla will just freeze and stop responding and I have to end task it. I am using Foxit PDF reader. Does anyone know a way to fix this? I tried viewing a pdf in IE and it worked, but it does not work for Mozilla.

Try adobe reader and see if it has the same problem.

Hm... that is interesting, when I disable my Foxit plugin, it works with adobe reader. For some reason when my Foxit plugin is enabled, whenever I click on a link with a pdf, it does pop up a window asking me to save or open.

    Try this:

    . Open FoxitReader

    . Check updates

. See if you have the 64bits filter installed.

    cheers ...

Do you mean the ifilter? I installed it, but it still does not work. I could open a pdf fine with foxit alone, but I can't when I want to open it in Mozilla.

    Verify:

. that Foxit is your default PDF reader.

. if you have PDF download AddOn in FF, then remove it

. if you dont have PDF download AddOn, then install it.

    Give it a shot.

    cheers ...

Yea, I just disabled my Foxit plugin and let Mozilla open the pdf in a separate Foxit window. Thanks
