Hey forum members,
So I have some mp3s I want to volume level. This is because when I make playlists and add things to now playing while on the go, tracks I have from different places play at very different volume levels. Because of this, I need to adjust the volume manually every track in a diverse playlist....
Do you know of any good (and preferably free) software that can volume level tracks well?
Also... what decibal (dB) level do you level to?
Thanks for any help you can give!![]()

Use mp3gain. I use 96db for most of my mp3s.

If you have a non-ipod mp3 player, you can use windows media player. Select "normalize volume before sync" and WMP will automatically adjust the gain. That way, you don't have to manually adjust the gain thus don't have to waste so much time.
