    need an adobe Photoshop tip

    Hi!
    I am trying to create a logo in photoshop but i cant figure out for hours now how to put one letter on top of the other, so that buttom letter would be transperent in the areas of intersaction of the the other letter boarders. To be exact Im trying to combine "M" and "T" so the "T" would be on the background and "M" on top of it. Just like shown in the attached example.
    I would appreciate your help!

    You can rasterize the type layer then erase the portion you want. Just right-click on the layer and choose 'Rasterize Type'.

    Hmmm cant anyhow find that rasterize option. Im using photoshop 9. Any other work around the problem may be?

    You should also make sure that the M layer has a transparent background. Then, anything behind it will show through.

    Heh maybe you should check out some photoshop tutorials online.. they help a lot
