i made the mistake of installing "magicdisk" to load a uif file. it has come close to jacking my windows 7. i did a system restore and managed to get rid of it and by also manually deleting the leftover crap. only 2 files remain in the system32/driverstore/temp folder. i dont think they are doing anything anymore. but i would like them to be gone. as far as i can tell from researching on the net this is impossible to delete from the driverstore folder. i have tried admin account, safe mode, delete on reboot.

so these 2 files will remain there for the life of my windows7 install.

what bothers me is that windows calls this a temp folder but it never goes away.

    anybody have insight?

Magic Disc doesn't 'jack' your windows .. I've been using it for almost a year now.

when you want to uninstall something why don't you use Add/Remove programs it removes everything, including the drivers.
