I have used XP for a long time on desktop computers and my old 15" Dell Inspiron 8600. Now I have a new 15" Dell Latitude E6500 with Vista. I end up switching back and forth with the 2 laptops, and I see a big difference between the 2 versions of Explorer.

XP Explorer is easy for me to read, the text of the file/folder names is big and provides good contrast against the background, and the "+" beside a folder name is easy to see and click on. In contrast the Vista Explorer provides text that blends into the background too much, and the little triangles beside the folder names are especially hard to see.

I've tried looking for options to change colors and fonts but I haven't found anything if I'm using the standard profiles.

What are my options for changing the appearance of this?
