This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     i'm currently i iraq and i just ordered a fancy new dell XPS1530 (T9300, 8800GT, 320g 5400rpm SATA) with vista home 'premium' OS. our internet here S U C K S so my researching ability is quite limited.

    i'm looking for any new drivers/utilities that i should get to optimize teh vista experience (i'm really not looking forward to this) for gaming. i've been wallowing thru the vista sticky but it's very slow going.

    i'm looking into an XP/vista partition anyway, but i'm kinda lazy and would like to have everything ready to go on my thumbdrive when it gets here.
