I'm pretty sure you chose where to save a file on Nero Vision - I have got it on my computer I just don't use it.

If you record a file you generally record, then tell the computer under which name to save.
Sometimes you chose a location before, sometimes after the recording.

You choose the location on the last screen before it starts to encode. I have no idea where the default is (start another encode off and it will show you where it saved them) as I choose my own location when encoding iPhone video clips.
