what's the best way to do a clean install of vista 64 bit on my new HP laptop??
i have a copy of vista home prem. upgrade but it's 32 bit. i also have the HP recoovery partition, is there any way to make that a clean install instead of an "HP install"?? otherwise is my only real option to order discs from MS marketplace for $13?? shame on HP for making such bloated machines.

The bloat keeps the cost of the notebook down by advertising software.

You can only do a clean install to 32bit since you dont have a 64bit install disc

Get a similar version vista 64bit disc and install using the serial key on the COA (sticker probably at the base of the notebook).
