Got my brand new IBM R-51 laptop last week, and am surprised to find that there is no Spell-Check utility included for outgoing Outlook Express eMails with the Windows XP-Pro system.
Is this normal?
Is there a patch / fix / work-around for this?
Can I steal / borrow this utility from my own desktop's Windows "98 system?
I've got a lot of good info from these forums, and I thank you all for the time you spend here.

Outlook express is the same for win 98 as for XP, if spellcheck worked for you in 98 then it is there in XP. I don't have OE on my notebook and even on my desktop it is only used for reading newsgroups, but I'm 99.99% sure there is a spell check function.
It is possible that it just has not been enabled in your XP setup, try starting OE and using the help function and find out how to enable the spell checking.

There is a OE patch available for the spell checker- if you can't find it via google, email me & I'll send it to you.
