    no windows updates for a month?

    The only Windows Updates I've been getting for the past month are Defender defs updates, nothing else....

    is this normal?

    They are getting ready to scrap Vista...Windows 7 is the future! :eek:

    lol. I think that they are focusing on Windows 7 so Vista is in the background for a moment. Don't worry about it. ;)

    Like Nos said, Microsoft is supposed to issue 13 critical updates to cover OS security holes sometime today.

    I hope this is normal. If you get things right the first time, you don't need to patch the crap out of everything every month.

    ^^^ Right. I don't think this issue (or situation, for a better word) is something to be worried about. But as others mentioned there should be updates today.

    I didn't know about patch tuesday, is good to know...

    effectively, I got the ~50 MB updates this week (reduced to ~30MB after taking out Outlook and defender stuff...)
