This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is open Office compatible with MS Office? Thanx

    It can open most Office documents, not so sure on 2007 though.

    It is, but not to the point that you'd want to rely on it to open documents for work, or documents that you need to circulate to others who may be using Office.

    If you're only a casual user, then yes. Once you get into some more intermediate or advanced function.. then no.
