My question or problem is very simple or so I thought. I've been sending emails to my friends and such with photo and image attachments. My problem is that when they receive them they open up as one of those red or little x's. Can't figure out for the life of me why this keeps happening when it never did before. Can anyone help please? This happens with any picture or image that I send.

what email / email client are you using?

Its possible the attachments are being stripped? Do u have a copy of the email that you sent? If yes, can you see the attachments there?

Sorry it took a bit to get back, but here it is. Can't see the photos of the emails that I sent. The ones in the sent box, right? My email client is Cogeco who is my internet provider. Cogeco Cable. I don't understand why they don't show up, especially on my end. Well, I hope you have a solution. Thanks.

Have you checked for 'show pictures' or 'show images' option in the settings of the email client?

also, have you tried right clicking on the red x to see if you have a 'show image' or show picture or similar, option?

Btw, cogeco client meaning? I don't see any cogeco email client as such. probably you mean an email service from cogeco? and u use IE or firefox to access the email account? in that case, check the IE settings panel..
