I have full version of Acronis 11.....I have used it many times for cloning......The best way to use it to burn a bootable CD of their software and use it through that for cloning !!

It causes some problems like sleeping infinitely while cloning from Windows.....

I've used it since Norton screwed up Ghost, but what haven't they screwed up?

I'm currently using ver11, but have used each version since 8. I've never had a failure that was related to True Image.

There were some issues when Vista was released (Vista uses a different start sector), but those have been corrected.

Three important things: 1. Always do a complete image - you never know when you'll need it. 2. Always verify your image. 3. Always keep your backup in at least two different places (2 HDs, HD and DVDs, etc).

    Just my .02.

I've only had Acronis fail on me once, and that was because of a couple of bad sectors on a HDD (so it wasn't even Acronis's fault). I've been using v10 since the day I bought it, and could not be happier. I haven't tried v11 though, but since I'm happy now I do not plan on spending to upgrade unless I'm forced to (aka Vista if/when I ever move).

I have used both. I like Acronis more. Acronis just has a cleaner and more familiar look. Sometimes Paragon software looks like colored static on a TV, maybe that just happens for me but you can't even use it when that happens. If I were to buy either products, I would definitely go with Acronis.
