I ran pcmark05 a couple of times but could not get a score. I keep getting a message "system suite must be selected and run to obtain a pcmark05 score". How do I do that?

I don't think you can do anything about it. I've had the same problem and tried all different settings to get a pcmark 05 score but it didn't work. I'm not 100% sure though.

Did you read the requirements for the benchmark? You need to have your system set in a certain way.
-Install Windows Media Encoder 9 if you haven't already done so.
-Set the Windows theme to "Best Appearance"

I found that if you have Windows Media Player 11 installed, the benchmark doesn't work no matter what. I can't seem to get PCMark05 working on my machine again even after rolling back to WMP10.

Basically, there are 11 tests in the "System Suite." All 11 must be run in order to give you a score. Run the program again and see which tests are the ones that are not running on your computer. Basically it'll say something like "initializing test... init failed" and skip to the next one. Once you identify the failed test you can try to solve the problem.

For instance, my pixel shader test would not initialize the first time I tried it. I fixed it by d/ling the latest version of Directx 9c from the microsoft website.
