first time happened with my PC and pen-drive ,last night while copying 2gb data from my pendrive to PC took me some half an hour and while pasting another Gb and a half was takin a whooping 54minutes..had to cancel the transfer and the canceling was taking another never-ending-time / had to force quit that also (task bar manager) and while turning off the PC with the pen drive in it ,cos it wasnt ejecting, was again taking ages..

what could it be...? problem with the pen drive..? shall i check it after formatting it..? got loads of data in it :/
