can someone please tell me which program is creating the blue arrows as in the picture below or how i can remove them. i have them on virtually every pic,video,mp3,mp4 file on my machine.

im not very techie and i just seem to install programs for the sake of it and i have no recollection as to which program is creating the arrows. its a real eyesore as you can probably imagine.
if we cant determine which program it is then is there a way to get back to the vista deault so the arrows dont show?

Post a screenshot of your Add/Remove Programs list and I could probably figure it out.

Those are icon overlays used by Norton 360 to indicate a file's backup status.
To continue using the backup feature of Norton 360 without the overlays, click Settings in the Norton 360 main window then disable Backup Status Indicators by clearing the adjacent check box and clicking Close.
