    problem installing xp pro on laptop

    hey guys im trying to install windows xp pro on my dv7-1135nr it goes through selecting drivers etc. then its gives me this bluescreen error 0000007b (0xf78d2524,0xc0000034,0x0000000.0x00000000)

    it does have the amd board and processor the hdd is a hitachi travelstar 7k320 0a57 320gb sataII 720 the last thing i see on the screen after it goes through and loads all the drivers is setup is starting windows. then it goes to the bluescreen with the error above can any1 help give some insight on this

    Microsoft has a KB article, KB324103, that addresses some of the common causes of that stop error.

    thank u very much this is helping alot i may not have to slipstream after all with a bunch of driverpacks lol

    update: ive got xp installed and its working,but still have to get all the other drivers which will take sometime to do the problem now is it wont dual boot xp keeps coming up i installed easybcd after i installed the net.framework . after i installed that and brought up easybcd and was created the p part the name got changed so i deleted those two unintalled and was gonna start over i've got the vista created but xp wont create for me any ideas?
