Check your outlook settings. Gmail's settings are pretty specific in outlook. There is a help file on gmail.com that will give you instructions if you don't remember the settings. Also make sure that gmail is set to have outlook access it.

If this just started, then its probably a setting change or possibly outlook being corrupted.

I followed in detail the instructions given by gmail in setting pop3 in outlook. I'm sure the problem is with the outlook. I can send email using my gmail account in outlook but i just can't receive my message in gmail inbox.

BTW, my imap is working properly.

If gmail doesn't work in thunderbird either, i guess the problem will be on my gmail account.

k, did you check your settings in gmail.com? there is a setting in there that must be turned on to allow you to download messages. You can send messages without that setting checked, but you can't download messages without it.

Log in to gmail-->settings-->forwarding/pop tab-->enable POP for all mail.
