    hey!

i want to delete a logical partition but a window pops up saying it cant be deleted because its currently in use.. i thought its because this partiton is labeled c: but its not because of that? (the os is on d: if thats important) i think its because on that partition there is a file which cant be deleted.. its from winrar and the file is called rarext.dll, trying to delete it, it says that its used by the os and some other programs.. trying to open it could damage the system.. how to fix that?

    any help is appreciated

i have already deleted everything from winrar and even uninstalled it.. but the only remaining file from winrar is that rarext.dll which cant be deleted.. access denied and blah, what i wrote above.. other suggestions?

    edit

i also cant move it elsewhere.. it says check if its used by other programs or if its not write protected or whats its called..
