okay i just dl the trial version, to give it a try before I buy it. Okay so is the computer protection status suppose to be always running, also in the proactive defense , the only thing that is running is application activity analyzer is that fine? Also for the past couple days facebook hasn't been working, I took off norton and put kaspersky and it worked but now it's back to not responding when I login, but it works fine on my other pc.

    My advice is:
    1. Install Firefox 2.0.0.7
    2. Delete Norton AV Completely
    3. In Kaspersky turn-off Web Protection, I've never run to any problems with Firefox, so I don't need any extra slow downs from monitoring my browser all the time.
    4. Enjoy.

PS: I do remember losing my internet connection after I closed Kaspersky Antivirus but it went back after I restarted Firefox.

PSS: Yes Kaspersky always monitors your computer. You can actually turn that off if you want to or make it so that it doesn't use as much computer resources with that slider in Options: Maximum Security, Normal, Fast Speed.

This is not easy to do, but Symantec made a tool for this purpose. There's a link to it on my website.

Facebook: Try clearing your browser's cache and refresh the page. And see if you have anything that might be blocking that website. I've ran into similar problems before at home when I was trying to open InterfaceLift website, but it's just stuck on loading and eventually goes to Page Not Found while it perfectly loads on my iPhone.

Kaspersky: It's in the Options, and then go down to File Antivirus, or Mail Antivirus, each one of them will have a slider to set: Max Security, Normal (Middle), and Fast Speed (that's what I am using and I barely notice the antivirus running in the background).
