    question about software error on pre-loaded

    Norton came with my lappy .... I do like Norton .. so i want to keep it ....I have since had to purchase the subscription renewel after my 3 month trial .... but .. the quarantine option in the program doesnt work correctly .. saying i need to reload NORTON and install again ...

    BUT i dont have anything to install since the software came pre-loaded....

    is this simply a case of " out of luck " nothing i can really do other than purchasing a " disk" of Norton ...

    You might be in luck. Actually, the trial software, and all that Dell Musicmatch stuff and those things are located in one of the driver cds. I forget which one, but check them all out and see which one has it. I believe there should be a blue cd that says "antivirus apps" or something like that in the little bulleted list right on the cd.
