    Hi,

after using firefox since its release in 2004, i've finally decided to switch to chrome. i've been using it for two days now, and things have gone well until i realised....when you open tabs, they just keep getting smaller and smaller....to the point you cant even read the text on them, and no dropdown arrow appears with a list of open tabs, rendering them as useless as having 50 IE windows open in windows 98 where they all end up tiny squares on the taskbar.

is there a solution for this? i dont really want to go back to firefox but this is a real deal breaker for me...

    thanks in advance

Right-click empty space in title bar, task manager, tabs are listed.

Snipe may be worth a look. While it doesn't change the tab behavior, clicking on the Snipe icon in the toolbar (or hitting CTRL + ALT + Space) displays a dialog box to search open tab titles/names.

task manager is a little inconvenient when you constantly have loads of tabs open. is there seriously no better built in way for tab management?

I guess the tab layout just won't conform to your particular usage needs. *shrug*

i found this extension called vertical tabs. not ideal but it'll do. just so sick of firefox crashing on me constantly (due to flash really, it dosent seem to release memory after i close a tab/navigate away)

The keyboard shortcut makes access to it faster.

    "shift + Esc"

That seems faster than a drop down on IE or Firefox.
