The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    weird ?..but anyways i am going to need to download those vista files from digitalriver to make a disk to do a clean install
    but i don't have a dvd burner on my computer i need to do the clean insall on...if i use my dvd burner on my laptop will the disks be fine to use to do a clean install on my desktop.

    Sure, that's fine, but I think the digitalriver thing doesn't work anymore... unless you're paying, or it started working again.
