For a long time now I am having problems with getting past reCAPTCHA.
I mainly get traffic signs to select which hardly ever get it right and the easy ones like store front or cars - my selections always 'disolve'/dissapear. the 'grainy' pictures are the same, until eventually I am getting blocked after number of tries.
I tried different computers and different networks in different places, deleted cookies and history, nothing seems to work. anyone has any idea how to get it fixed?

That's interesting, I had similar issues when I first started coming across the "test". IDK what made it work for me, but eventually I had no problem with it. It's a learning process even for HI - Human Intelligence, yes it's a thing too.

This might help, perhaps you can tune your browser to better display the details for your eyes too. I use CTL-SHIFT+ to enlarge - better to see the details, or CTL - to see the "whole picture".
Computer glasses help too, it's a thing, like Reading Glasses. I combine them in Progressive / Multifocal lenses, but sometimes just pure Computer Glasses keep near / far distractions out of focus allowing better concentration.
Don't leave Computer Glasses at your desk though, they are a very attractive prize for klepto's. -
It didn't use to be like this for me and all of a sudden just started and it's very frustrating.
I do see the images fine but it insists I'm not correct. 99% of the times I get the street signs, but the disolving selections on the 'easier' options annoy me more, it's like they're saying ' let's toy with you & see how long you'd last' lolhmscott likes this. -
Do you have a link to that site that your are having problems with?
-
LIke you said, the traffic signs never work properly. I will immediately click refresh when it asks for that one since I know it won't accept the correct result.
Even the cars one is starting to become a 50-50 ordeal if it will accept the results.
I wish I had a suggestion on how to make the process run better, other than my tendency to just avoid sites that use them - which is getting harder since I can't even log into my Dropbox without having to jump through those damn hoops -

Post a URL so that we can try it. Preferably not a forum. I have found that sometimes I have your problems when I have the 'No Script' plugin running while trying a reCAPCHA. Do you have anything similar running?

I don't have 'No Script' just uBlock and even with that disabled it doesn't change anything.hmscott likes this. -
That test link worked OK for me with no issues. I had to turn off 'No Script'. So something else must be going on with your setup.

I wish I knew what, it happens in other computers and different OS, networks so I can't figure out why. it wasn't always like this, just suddenly happened.

So here's something interesting,
I tried to solve the catptcha on my cellphone connected to my DATA PLAN and I had no trouble getting it right. even better, it gave me easy ones like fire hydrant instead of the crappy street signs I always get. I'm starting to think they have a problem with certain ISP's or something.hmscott likes this. -
Just wanted to update that the problem is gone.
I am now able to solve them on the computer without any issues and even get normal ones for a change. hopefully it stays that way.
