need help on how to turn this madness off. well, everytime i plug in my heaphone jack onto the receiver the realtek software pops out and asks me to to choose what kind of device i plugged in (line in/mic in/heaphone/line out/spdif out). this really gets annoying cause everytime i plug it in and im in the middle of the game it minimizes and my game crashes. any1 that can help will be appreciated.thanks

Ummhh. I'm not sure. Do yo uneed the realtek software? Why don't you try uninstalling it if you don't have a need for it?

Is there an option on the realtek software that where you can check off that says whether you want to start it up everytime you headphone jack onto the receiver or not?

start -> run -> Msconfig and uncheck the option for the realtek software on startup to load.
