    reformat toshiba sattelite 1410?

    hi, i have a Toshiba sattelite 1410 laptop, my problem is that how do i reformat it? i cant semm to get into the bios? when i turn it on it comes to the toshiba logo scrren then it goes to the intel boot program thing? it skips the memory test etc, so how do i get to the bios so i can reformat? plz help!

    the bios won't help you reformat. just put your OS cd in the drive and boot from the CD.

    it wont let me it just goes to this intel boot agent v4.1.06?

    what CD are you putting in the drive?

    if it's XP, it should flash a note to "press any key to boot from CD..."

    if you don't have the CD set to boot before the HD, then you will need to get into the bios to change your boot order. is there no message flashing that says to "press __ to enter setup" ?

    yea i did that but it still does that intel boot agent thing, and no press any key to boot from cd thing
