    Hey, quick question:

Will my 32bit vista home premium OEM key work for a 64bit version of vista home premium (retail)?
if not, will it work for a 64bit version of vista home premium OEM?

    thanks

a Vista home premium key can be used to activate (ONE) x86 or x64 copy

believe that retail means that you have to manually type the key from your product code on the label on ur laptop, while some OEM dvds can automatically read the product code embeded in the bios if the manufacturer did do it

You 32 bit OEM key will work fine with the 64bit retail version. I've done it myself.

The OEM version means that key is for that machine and that machine only. Whereas you can use a retail version for different machine if you upgraded. Also the OEM version has system upgrade restrictions.
