Hi, I tried to relocate this folder (it's huge - 909MB) to another drive in my computer. Everything was going swimmingly until the very end when a bunch of *.dat files couldn't be moved because it was opened by another program. So now I on top of the original appdata folder in C drive, I have another in F drive. How do I completely move the original folder to the new location? Thanks.

I'm not even sure you can completely move the appdata folder as it may have some system files in it since its part of the OS. Eitherway, try running in safe mode (hopefully this is still possible in Vista - not sure) and try copying the folder. This should make sure that only the default system processes are running. If no such thing as Safe Mode exists in Vista, type msconfig in the search/run prompt and restart into diagnostic mode which is basically the same thing. Hopefully this helps.

Thank you. I thought that might be the way to do it, but I just spent half a day doing a clean install, so I'm not going to get greedy and screw it up.
