i used to be able to easily do this with vista sp2 in the network settings page. how can i delete these old previously connected to networks in windows 7 i have connected to so many public places and would like o be able to delete all of them since most i will never connect to again. one thing i have not seen in windows 7 yet..

also im not talking about the stored / saved one.. simply ones i connected to one time say at a hotel for one night or at starbucks etc..in vista i could do this easily

    thanks

nevermind i just figured it out..

for those wondering the same thing go to control panel - network and sharing center.

now you will see at the top your computer then the type of network then the globe (if connected to the internet)

under that is "view your active networks" now they made it hidden for some reason.. click the icon directly under that so right now im home so mine is a house. this brings up a "secret" window so you can change the network name and delete or merge old networks i had probably 30+ listed there...

    hope it helps someone

In Network and Sharing Center, you can also click 'Manage wireless networks' on the left pane.
