hi, just a simple question, can rmclock be used to undervolt the new i3-330m and i5-430m processors? both of these support speedstep, so i'm assuming this will be no problem. anyone have direct experience with this? thanks!

Not as far as I know. CPUGenie has support for the Core i7, but it's not great and only has a 30 day trial.

what's wrong with i3/i5 paired with rmclock? those processors voltages are able to change and rmclock is able to run in win7, so where's the incompatibility?

Interfacing with the new core architecture i'd imagine, its been around a long time with no updates.

I can not get it to work on my Aspire 7740 (i3 processor)...
Someone know any way around this because i would love to get the temp down so i can get the fan noise down. -

Hey how'd it go? I've got an arrandale system that I'm trying to undervolt as well.
-
oh no... rmclock couldn't detect my processor. is this the end of undervolting?

Same here.

RMClock has not been updated for a long time. (They stopped truly updating in the mid-Penryn refreshes). So at the moment undervolting i3/i5/i7's are only available with CPU Genie (a payware software). Even with that CPU Genie, I don't know if anyone successfully undervolted the Core i series.
