    How can u configure your MCE laptop to receive digital satelite signals?
    What software(s)/ equipment do you need?

    You would need, at the very least, a TV tuner card, either external or internal.

    For sat tv you will need the set top box to decode the signal.
    Cable cards are for cable tv and provided by the cable company.
