hey guys for reasons I don't know and can't fix, I cannot boot from my CD-drive, so bootable cds/diskettes are out of the question. Anyway here's my problem: I want some good software (unless windows can do it) to backup (save bit-for-bit image including MBR) a drive. The drive I need to back up won't be my system drive though, it will be from my other computer which should make things easier.

Does anyone know a good piece of software for this?

    Thanks :)

Unfortunately, it's not right now. I checked with an Acronis rep via live chat, and was told that the download server is down for maintenance, but should be up by sometime tomorrow.

I was also told that while the regular download server is offline for maintenance, anyone who wants to obtain a trial copy of the full version of True Image 11 Home can contact Acronis customer service via live chat from the Customer Support webpage and they will provide you with an ftp download link and a temporary serial number that will allow you to install a full version of True Image 11 Home for a 15-day trial period.
